Corey Comperatore was a good man. He was a retired 50-year-old fire chief with a wife and two daughters that he doted upon. He was a good Christian man. Corey was a better man than me.
Corey was shot and killed at the Trump rally as he threw his wife and daughter to the ground and covered them with his own body.
But no one cares out there in media circus land or politics. All everyone talks about are conspiracies and Secret Service failings. They all talk about the hate media on the left—hatred for Trump.
No one talks about Corey Comperatore. Has Trump said anything about Mr. Comperatore? I doubt it.
No one cares if the Secret Service and local cops failed to protect the crowd. They are just hoi polloi. Who cares if a peon gets shot? What matters is that Trump, some rich potentate, damn near got killed.
I don't give a damn about politicians or the Secret Service or the media, or pundits online with their conspiracy theories.
Timmy, In his very first announcement, literally hours after being shot, Trump's statement was about remembering the person who died (no one knew who it was at the time).. Every announcement since from Trump has mentioned the tragedy of the killing.
I like your stuff, but you should at least look up basic source materials before making flat-footed statements like the above.
Dr. K, None of the people I follow, and they are good people, mentioned Trump saying anything about the shooting victims. I don't follow Trumps tweets or statements. I'm glad he said something.
Americans have raised over $4 million for Comperatore and the other two seriously injured shooting victims. That is good news.
Trump should attend the funeral of Comperatore and visit the other two victims.
Dr. K, I am very happy to hear that Trump initiated and supported the fundraiser of Comperatore and the other victims.
Trump's abandonment of the January 6th protestors in prison when Trump was still president, still sticks in my craw. The shootings at the Trump rally brought back bad memories. I'm glad to hear that Trump stepped up this time.
Sticks in lots of our craws. My hope is that he will give them a blanket pardon. One of the ongoing giant lawfare miscarriages that I hope gets remediated as best it can be. No one ever gets their lost time back, sadly.
President Trump absolutely did say something about him, I heard it myself. I am not exactly sure, etc., but I've been watching a whole lot of different conservative mostly stations and some others to get all the info I can. Everyone cares, that I know. It's a nightmare that any of this happened in our USA!!! This is not Mexico, etc., where poor candidates get shot and killed all the time. I had hoped we were better than this. I was in DC nearby when Reagan was shot, I was pregnant with my child when Kennedy was shot. etc., these are all HORRIFIC acts. A society MUST have laws and that is why we need to bring back law and order, close the borders, etc. etc. We are reverting to caveman age these days. It is unfathomable.
We have been potential victims of "who" for years. I read about the heart attack thing and much much more! I think there are as many truly evil people on earth as decent ones, we just lived in a dream world for so long.
Vicki, Yes, we lived in a dream world. As a kid, I thought WWII got rid of the bad guys forever. Haha.
I read that a fundraising campaign has raised $4 million for Corey Comperatore and the other two shooting victims seriously injured. That is good news.
Trump said last night $6.3 million, plus he had a check in hand from (I forget who) some rich dude for another $1. Million so I am happy for the widow and children. I am sure more will come.
VICKI, The leeches and sharks will be circling the Comperatore family and those of the other two shooting victims looking for a piece of that $6.3 million. I hope the three families have good lawyers and financial/tax consultants.
assuming you know President Trump honored him at the beginning of his speech last night having his uniform and helmet on stage; it was absolutely moving and wonderful. I know he is grateful he was spared and apparently talked to the wife/widow. Trump 2024 I have heard many stories like this as he cares, you can tell by his children and family, I have said for years.

A good man is dead.

Timmy, The stack on which $4M has been raised was initiated by and supported by Trump as well. And you are right, it is good news.

Dr. K, I agree with you.

Vikki, I'm glad that Trump said something about Corey. I've only found one substack that mentions Corey Comperatore.
Assassinations are one of the main tools of American foreign policy. The CIA even has a "heart attack" gun. It's depressing.
The Secret Service facilitated the JFK killing. Look up Donald Sutherland as "X" in the movie JFK on YouTube. It's a good scene.

VICKI, Trump loves his family and families in general in America. It's the best part of his character.
Guess what, Trump called the wife...https://mail.aol.com/d/list/referrer=newMail&folders=1&accountIds=1&listFilter=NEWMAIL/messages/AIj2LsQRdaL_ZpfxyQXcALYZG8o
VICKI, I saw that, too. The widow wouldn't talk to Senile Joe.
and the tribute tonight on RNC convention by Trump Jr. , I almost cried.
